The automatic preservation line for flat rolled products installed in the
facility
The properties of the line make it possible to apply a wide range of preservation coats (primers to sheets) to meet every customer’s requirements and preferences.
Shotblast enables scale and corrosion to be removed from a metal surface and preparing the surface for the application of protective preservation primer. Metal priming allows to protect steel from corrosion.
Primer types:
- Hempels Shopprimer
- Muki Z
Other types of primer can be used.
Size range of processed sheets:
- thickness: 6 ÷ 40 mm (up to 60 mm on the plates with high flatness as to GOST 19903–74)
- width: up to 4,600 mm
- length: up to 18,300 mm
The preservation line consists of the following:
- charging roller table
- preheating chamber (designed for metal preheating and scale crust loosening to improve the removal of moisture remains and oil stains from the metal surface)
- shotblasting chamber (designed for metal surface cleaning up to a purity of Sa 2.5, as required by ISO 8501−1 (ISO 12944−4). Sheets are shotblasted on both sides simultaneously)
- painting chamber (designed to apply a primer of a required)
- drying chamber (designed for giving performance characteristics to primer)
